On Page SEO Checklist

  • Use keyword in the title.
  • Use keyword in the url.
  • Use keyword in the meta description.
  • Use keyword in the body of your post, but don’t overdo it! It should be clear and concise without being too long or wordy (unless you’re writing an article).
  • H1 headers (that’s “headings” with one letter) are very important because they attract attention to certain parts of your post, including its title and body text; therefore, it’s best to use relevant keywords throughout so that search engines can find them easily when someone searches online using specific terms related to what they’re looking for!

Off Page SEO checklist

Off page SEO is one of the most important components of your SEO strategy. Off page SEO factors include:

  • Keyword research and analysis
  • Site architecture and structure, including navigation, content types, and site speed
  • Domain name selection, including availability (i.e., registration date) and domain age (i.e., how long the domain has been registered). A good domain name will help boost rankings in Google search results because it’s easier for users to remember than a generic term like “website” or “company name.”
  • Link building strategy – this includes both internal linking between pages within your site as well as external links from other websites pointing back to yours; both strategies can help increase traffic flow through Google’s indexing process which improves rankings in organic searches



Keyword research

Keyword research is the process of finding keywords that are relevant to your business. It’s an important part of your on-page SEO checklist and also an important part of your off-page SEO strategy.

The first step in keyword research is knowing what keywords you want to target, so it’s worth taking some time here to think about this before jumping into any aspects of keyword research. What kind of content do I want my site’s pages optimized for? What topics will be most likely go viral with new visitors (and therefore stand out)? How many searches are there per month for these terms related directly back towards my brand/product?

Competition research

Competition research is a process of analyzing the competition. This can be done by using a tool like SEMrush, Ahrefs or Moz.

  • SEMrush: This tool allows you to see what keywords your competitors are targeting in their websites and in their content marketing efforts. You can also set up goals for yourself by analyzing these keywords on an ongoing basis so that you know when it’s time to update your website or blog with new content related to those topics!
  • Ahrefs: Another great option for competitive analysis is Ahrefs because it has features such as keyword discovery (which helps identify opportunities), site audits (to check up on how well optimized each page has been), link analyses etc., so there’s no shortage of useful information here either!

Backlink analysis

Backlink analysis is the process of tracking the links to your website from other sites. It’s important to know that there are many different types of backlinks, including:

  • Internal links (i.e., pages within your own site)
  • External links (i.e., pages on other websites)
  • Referring domain names or IP addresses

Page Analysis

  • Check for duplicate content. Duplicate content can be found in the form of a page’s URL, title and meta description.
  • Check for broken links. Broken links may occur when a link points to an existing page but doesn’t work because it is missing some key information (e.g., the correct title). A good way to find these types of issues is by using Google Search Console’s “Site Performance” report under “Link Analysis.”
  • Check for missing meta tags on your pages that have been created manually or automatically by WordPress plugins like Yoast SEO or All In One Schema Builder (AISB). If there are any missing tags, then you’ll need to fix them before you submit your site into Google Search Console so that those factors are reflected correctly in SERPs!


Difference between on-page SEO and off-page SEO

On-page SEO (also referred to as “on-site”) is the type of SEO that takes place on your website. It includes elements like title tags and meta descriptions, which are used to inform search engines about what you have to offer.

Off-page SEO refers to all other kinds of practices that aren’t related directly or indirectly to specific content on your site—and can include things like keyword research, link building and social media engagement strategies.
